The Coquille River Lighthouse with its simple architectural lines stands watch on a cloudy day in Bullard’s Beach State Park, Bandon, Oregon. Technical navigation equipment made the lighthouse obsolete in the 1940s and it was abandoned for many years. Now restored, it is lit by a solar powered light which recreates its former grandeur for the viewing delight of its many visitors.
