It’s difficult to tell which way is up in this low angle view with the sun playing off the orange sandstone creating reflections and shadows that trick the eye. The bright blue of the splash pool acts as a mirror for the sky and surrounding sand cliffs. This image was taken at Shore Acres State Park on the Oregon coast near Coos Bay.
