PANORAMA Remains Of The Day Print, Ashland, Oregon

I was driving around trying to find a good location to shoot a dramatic evening thunderstorm. The first location was too windy for longer exposures and the second didn’t have many flowers blooming. Then I chased a rainbow and lightning only to have them fade before I could get set up. As the clouds parted and the sun began to sink below the hills I pulled over, jumped a fence and ran up a hill to catch this right before the light was gone. Then it started to rain.
